Challenging climate change means challenging capitalism

Tackling climate change through a rapid transition to renewable energy is perfectly feasible, but corporate interests are determined to frustrate action, writes Erima Dall in Solidarity. She says among other things:
‘We cannot wait until it is “commercially attractive” before saving the planet. That is market madness. We need to demand that the government build the necessary infrastructure. They could build seven such power plants in one year alone using the money that is currently subsidising the fossil fuel industry.’

The rise of Stalin represented the defeat of the Russian revolution. Stalinism is state capitalism. Its downfall (9 November 1989 was when the people of Germany smashed down the Berlin War and began the process of overthrowing Stalinism) is something serious socialists welcomed.

Corporate neo-communists? Are you sure you don’t mean the lizard people?

No, corporate neo-communism comes about when bankers end up in charge of the financial system and take over all government services and property. Since they then become the primary employer of the population and control both the public and private housing market, salaries, taxation department, hospitals, schools, jails etc and work with a “user pays” system, corporate neo-communists exist where communism meets capitalism i.e. the banker inflicts the same control mechanisms as experienced in undemocratic socialist regimes. They own everything and the people are just pawns in their game.

Capitalists actually make a lot of money from the Climate Change religion, even making a killing from solar panels.

Actually speaking about lizard people, this is a fairly good guess.
Those who are driving both sides of the Climate Change debate are snakes in the same patch of grass.

Corporate abusers want to rule the planet. Their minions sit on both sides of the climate debate and neither side can prove their case due to insufficient data.
Those who wish to charge us to the eyeballs for power and water and plan to take over every possible government service are working for the same people who want to screw the planet in other ways.
High electricity prices have helped to drive work offshore. Immigration and asylum seeking help provide slave labourers, as does driving work offshore.
Corporate neo-communists are the driving force behind the Climate Change debate. No matter what we do, they intend to rule the world and destroy our standard of living.
