Australian protestors of the Vietnam war must be enjoying the greatest protest ever since the Vietnam war when the Vietnam Government has made its stand by cancelling the battle of Long Tan service in Vietnam today. The Australian Minister of veteran Affairs has made what I believe a unwelcome statement saying “its a kick in the guts” In my opinion, as a Vietnam veteran, Australian politicians have been disrespectful in their approach and have taken Vietnam war experience for granted. Australia, New Zealand and America were invaders using their weapons of mass destruction and illegal toxic dioxin chemicals which has destroyed and bankrupted millions of lives. This in itself is a war crime. The cultural and political lifestyle of Vietnam has been hurt and insulted.
