Send Barnaby to Indonesia
It is a pity that Barnaby Joyce, a man of tact, diplomacy, nuance and subtlety, isn’t going to Indonesia to fix things up. I know I am disappointed that Barnaby is missing out on this great opportunity, and I am sure the Indonesians feel the same way. [Sarcasm alert.] (0)

Another Bolt from the white Right

Andrew Bolt expresses and inflames the reactionary propaganda and race hatred of a section of Australian society — a section who are exploited by politicians such as Pauline Hanson, particularly during times of economic stress, I write in Independent Australia. Celebrity salaries are as easy as ABC

The exorbitant pay rewards the top ABC managers, interviewers, commentators and news readers for playing the bourgeois game so well and guarantees they continue to do so. It also removes the celebrity journalists from the working class. Someone on $75000 in the ABC right now could do the job these over paid voices do so well for their masters and do it better because they would not be, at least initially, part of the bourgeoisie’s club.

I have been Andrew Bolted yet again

According to Andrew Bolt yesterday I am one of ‘Breivik’s useful idiots’ for daring to suggest in an article in July last year on my blog that ‘There is little in the political concerns of right-wing terrorist Anders Breivik that would be out of place in Coalition Party meetings or the mainstream media and especially […]

A Bolt hole anyone?

The short term embarrassment of racists like Bolt might turn into a longer term strategic disaster for the left. Certainly I will celebrate the Bolt’s loss, but the left needs to be careful. We might unleash the Right on their terrain – the bosses’ courts. Far better for us to fight on our ground – in the workplaces and the streets to stop racism.

Ultimately of course only a democratic working class revolution can sweep away the capitalist roots of racism. The struggles of today however can force the beast back into its lair for a while and help too to build the struggle for that new world of democracy and production to satisfy human need.

Have I been bolted, again?

A Face Book friend has told me Andrew Bolt personally attacked me today. As I wrote previously here when he did it once before ‘I have been bolted’… It looks like he’s done it again.  I wear it as a badge of honour.

Cricket and the loony left lie

Why not pick out two sentences from hundreds of articles by a leftie and think that you have undercut all those crazy ideas about democracy and satisfying human need?

I’ve been Bolted – at last

Ruling class warrior Andrew Bolt outed me today.  At last. It took my cricket article – Cricket’s imperialist masters beaten – to prompt his interest.  And he gave  Socialist Alternative a free plug.  This presumably in Andrew’s mind is enough to dismiss my arguments and analysis out of hand. When I looked at lunchtime there were 116 […]
