Send Barnaby to Indonesia
It is a pity that Barnaby Joyce, a man of tact, diplomacy, nuance and subtlety, isn’t going to Indonesia to fix things up. I know I am disappointed that Barnaby is missing out on this great opportunity, and I am sure the Indonesians feel the same way. [Sarcasm alert.] (0)

Why join the anti-abortion ALP?

Anna Bligh is a classic example of the futility of joining the ALP to change the world.

A major Brisbane hospital has now banned abortions because of the lack of clarity in the criminal laws, the laws Bligh said yesterday she would not change.

The ALP host has taken over the leftist parasite.

I have a suggestion for the supposedly pro-abortion Bligh, who in practical terms appears little different to former Nationals leader Lawrence Sprinborg.

Decriminalise abortion. Drop the ‘procuring an abortion’ charges against Tegan and her partner.

Don’t compromise on this.

But she will, and she will capitulate to her Catholic fundamentalist Deputy Premier. She is truly the Blighborg.

Bligh, Garrett, Tanner, Gillard and all the rest of the motley ‘left’ crew are the posters boys and girls for sellouts to capital.

To all those who want to change the world, join us in the struggle from below for real change, a struggle against Labor in power.

This is a harder way, granted, but the only real route to bringing about fundamental change, or  as is now obvious, real abortion reform.

Of course if you want to be a brain dead apparatchik then join the ALP, become a union research assistant and maybe eventually leader, on to getting a safe seat before heading into the Ministry, all without a shred of human decency or understanding of the plight of ordinary working people.

If that is what you want then do  join the ALP.

But really, who wants to end up like Bligh, Tanner, Gillard or Garrett, ditching their principles for ‘power’?
