Australian troops – killing in the name

3 Australian troops in Afghanistan have been charged with various offences, including one of manslaughter, for killing 5 children in a fight with the Resistance.

At the same time, SAS troops are conducting a hostage exercise in Bali with the Indonesian murderers and torture group Kopassus.

Australian troops are the armed wing of Australian imperialism. They are in Afghanistan to further the interests of the Australian ruling class, that tiny minority who live off our sweat.

They are training Kopassus to buy influence in Indonesia and help their elite suppress independence movements which threaten the Indonesian ruling class directly and our ruling class indirectly.

This means doing all that is necessary even if that involves collateral damage – killing women and children to you and me – or dealing with mass murderers like Kopassus. Both are a small price to pay for the expansion of the power of the Australian bourgeoisie under the umbrella of US imperialism.

Is there a solution? Bring the troops home. Stop supporting dictators and war criminals.

Is that all you have really got, peter piper? The Australian Invasion Forces are in Afghanistan to cover the theft of Afghan resources by the USA, just in the same way that all of the NATO forces are there. They have continued to make up lies as to why they are there as opportunities arise, just like they did over the progress of the Iraq invasion. Just like they will will when they attack Venezuela and any other country they choose. The Murdocracy and the Foxocracy support the militarisation of the world, armaments keep the shitty economies going at our expense. You ought get out a bit more peter!
