Send Barnaby to Indonesia
It is a pity that Barnaby Joyce, a man of tact, diplomacy, nuance and subtlety, isn’t going to Indonesia to fix things up. I know I am disappointed that Barnaby is missing out on this great opportunity, and I am sure the Indonesians feel the same way. [Sarcasm alert.] (0)

Maybe if the West stopped invading their countries, overthrowing their governments and killing their kids this wouldn’t happen?

As long as you completely ignore the senseless sectarian killings – plus those by fanatical Islamists- you completely lose all credibility! ALL senseless killings of innocents are to be deplored – not just those by US drones. The number of innocents killed in sectarian violence would greatly exceed the numbers you quote above! Open your eyes.

I look forward to the Islamophobes condemning Obama and maybe, just ,maybe, beginning to understand that terrorist violence is a response to the West’s systemic terrorism.

Jayb1, I agree 100%. Obama is no better than all those others who kill or attack innocent children and women.

You don’t have to be an “Islamophobe” to hear and see what is happening over in the Middle East! Sure, repeated US (and other countries) intervention has contributed to the deaths over there. But sectarian violence has been going on for centuries – ever since the death of Muhammad!

No, just like Christianity! I am an atheist for good reason!

The world would be a lot better off without these fanatical religions!
