Equal Love: Labor remains an enemy

According to Matt Akersten in SameSame:

‘The Australian Labor Party is cozying up to the Australian Christian Lobby again, with Opposition Leader Bill Shorten now confirmed as the keynote speaker at the increasingly fringe lobby group’s upcoming 2014 National Conference.’

You can read the full report, including dirt on the ACL, here.

Tell me again how voting Labor is progressive. Tell me again how joining the ALP will win progressive change? Labor is, like the Liberals and the bosses, the enemy.  It is a rotting, neoliberal, conservative carcass.

Shorten is a rightwinger.

His ascendancy can be put down to absentee Left sectarians who think they can run affairs from their self-imposed wilderness.

They then point to the mess they have caused, as justification for causing the mess in the first place.

Before blaming me for the systemic problems of Labor that arise from its task of managing capitalism, maybe you should point the finger at the fake left in the ALP who voted for Shorten to become leader. Comrades of yours like Kate Lundy come to mind.

What is your source for saying that Kate Lundy voted for Shorten?

The UN chose Bill Shorten and Tanya Plibersek to lead the ALP in Australia. The people chose Anthony Albanese, but the UN does not care what the people want or think.

The ALP has very little in common with the ACL. I have no idea why Bill Shorten would be addressing their conference, unless he intends to lie about some kind of religious affiliation that he does not really share.

I would like to vote for a real labour party which represents the needs of the worker and the poor, without sacrificing good social values which have stood the test of time.

The Democratic Labour Party and Katter’s Australian Party are the only 2 parties in the political spectrum which even come close to getting it right.

In countries where Same Sex Marriage has been legalised, Polygamists are also now champing at the bit and getting their own way.

Open Marriage is now also being promoted through articles in the Murdoch Press. Where will it all end?
