Zionists discuss whether the genocide of Palestinians is acceptable

This article is the open expression of the genocidal logic of Zionism. But first a note from a friend.

‘Yochanan Gordon was just being honest. This is the meaning of the apartheid Israeli state –  stability and security for such a state requires genocide. This was an actual op-ed in a major Israeli online paper, [The Times of Israel], which subsequently took the post down because for some reason calling for genocide remains controversial.’

Here is how Yochanan Gordon finishes his speculations on justifiable genocide.

I will conclude with a question for all the humanitarians out there. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu clearly stated at the outset of this incursion that his objective is to restore a sustainable quiet for the citizens of Israel. We have already established that it is the responsibility of every government to ensure the safety and security of its people. If political leaders and military experts determine that the only way to achieve its goal of sustaining quiet is through genocide is it then permissible to achieve those responsible goals?

Well, Israel is faced with an enemy next door that has vowed to destroy it and wage genocide on all Jews. The question posed in this extract is therefore understandable. Note that the writer has not answered the question. But Hamas’ policies have already answered the question with regard to Israel.

The genocide has been all one way – by the Israeli state, whose very establishment was an act of genocide against the original inhabitants.

Kay is a Zionist and capitalist?

The question posed in this extract is therefore understandable.

Crimes against humanity and the Fascist tactics of collective punishment are NEVER acceptable.

The fact that this obnoxious suggestion of deliberate planned genocide is echoed by such as Kay indicates this is a widespread notion amongst Zionists outside Israel.

It increases the moral standing of the Arab coalition.

This increases the urgency for the UN to move in and restore Palestine to the original owners while providing some agreeable territory for a Jewish enclave.

Israel lives every day with this attitude at its door:

“Whoever is killed by a Jew receives the reward of two martyrs, because the very thing that the Jews did to the prophets was done to him.

“The Jews are the most despicable and contemptible nation to crawl upon the face of the Earth, because they have displayed hostility to Allah.

“Allah will kill the Jews in the hell of the world to come, just like they killed the believers in the hell of this world.

“The Jews kill anyone who believes in Allah. They do not want to see any peace whatsoever on Earth.” (Sermon delivered by ‘Atallah Abu Al-Subh, former Hamas minister of culture, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV, April 8, 2011, translation by MEMRI)

Hamas’ co-founder Sheik Ahmed Yassin stated in 1987, and the Hamas Charter affirmed in 1988, that Hamas was founded to liberate Palestine from Israeli occupation and to establish an Islamic state in the area that is now Israel, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. That basically means the destruction of Israel as a nation. The Left appears happy to support an organisation that exists to destroy Israel and the Jews. Hamas denies that the Holocaust even happened.

Did the Left oppose the creation of Israel after the WW2 Holocaust? I’m just curious!

When you really look at some left wing newspaper reports, including cartoons, it is starting to look a lot like Nazi Germany’s press in the lead up to the rounding up and execution of European Jewry. And nobody seems to be concerned about that.

If what Israel is doing is genocide, then can you can suggest what you’d call Syria, where 9000 children have been murdered and about 60,000 adult civilians? Is that war or genocide? How should it be described?

And what should we call the Black September massacres of Palestinians by the Jordanian army, which Arafat said killed up to 25,000 Palestinians? Is that worse because it was Arabs doing it, and the death toll was 100 times higher than in Gaza, or less because it wasn’t Jews killing them?

I wish I had an answer.

What terms or words would you use for the British, who firebombed Dresden (without warning), killing 300,000 innocent people? Is there a word that describes this?

And Japan, with the atomic bombs?

My issue is we cannot use the same words and terms to describe such different actions and outcomes, otherwise it belittles the deaths of so many.

In Rwanda, a million people were hacked to death and killed in vile, barbaric ways. That was genocide. If we label this conflict with the same technical term, then it says that the lives of a million black people equal those of 1000 Arabs.

If the tragic death in war of 1300 people, out of a population of 2 million, is a genocide then almost all conflicts, all wars, all civilian deaths, become genocide.

That would make Australians guilty too, as our troops have killed more Afghanis and Iraqi than that.

I agree with you John, but then I’d find it hard to stomach living in a country that perpetrates genocide in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Your thoughts?

No one on the Left supports the Hamas statements you have typed. Your attempt has therefore failed.

On the other hand, you supported the call for genocide from a Zionist blogger.

Your smoke and mirrors cannot camouflage this fact.

What reports in what left wing reports and what cartoons look like which Nazi Germany press? How did you access the Nazi German press?

Why did you mention “rounding up and executions”? Was this a Freudian slip from a pro-genocide individual?
No-one except Zionists and Islamic zealots propose this although America has supported and orchestrated execution based regimes in Indonesia, Brazil, Vietnam, Chile and Arentina.

Please do not transfer your guilty motives onto others. Please do not try to falsely associate others with either Hamas or nazi Germany.

Interested bystander, I suggest you read my earlier reposted article a fortnight or so ago about what genocide is. It might help our understanding and discussion. Here is a link. https://enpassant.com.au/2014/07/18/why-what-is-happening-in-palestine-is-genocide/

I am not calling the death of almost 2000 Palestinians since the invasion of Gaza began a few weeks ago genocide, but rather as part of the long slow genocide (dispossession, killing) that has been going on since before 1948 but which increased once Zionism had a strong state hold on some of the land of the Palestinians.

Chris

Are you so blinded by your absolute belief in socialist ideology that you can’t think straight any more?

“No one on the Left supports the Hamas statements you have typed.” Really? All the Left are calling for the dissolution of Israel, just like Hamas is doing so. What exactly do you think that will mean for the Jews there? I mean, there are over 6 million Jews living in Israel. And exactly where in the Middle East are non-Muslims not persecuted? Why, most Muslim countries are gripped by Muslim versus Muslim conflict – I hate to think how the much-hated Jews would fare, especially given Hamas’ official policy!

“On the other hand, you supported the call for genocide from a Zionist blogger.” Did I? The writer of the article asked a question, but gave no answer. Neither did I. The answer, as any decent person knows, is “no”, but asking the question is understandable under the circumstances.

“What reports in what left wing reports and what cartoons look like which Nazi Germany press? How did you access the Nazi German press?” Do you think I am a signed-up member of the Nazi Party, with a cupboard full of Nazi cartoons and press reports? Seriously! Don’t you read Australian newspapers? Here is a link to some discussion about a very offensive cartoon in the SMH, for which the editor apologised after widespread criticism:

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/opinion/columnists/media-watch-dog-236-sarah-ferguson-antisemitism-and-the-smh-factchecking-and-the-abc-jenna-price-and-q-a/story-fnkqo7i5-1227010532667?nk=84a9801dd5add8fcde2c3584ac0cebd6

“Why did you mention “rounding up and executions”? Was this a Freudian slip from a pro-genocide individual?” What A deeply offensive accusation! Exactly where have I stated my support for genocide? Don’t you know any of the history of how the Nazis dealt with European Jewry? This cartoon prompted those who had survived the Holocaust to remember what happened to them in Europe at the hands of the Nazis – and how the German population was encouraged to blame the Jews for all the ills of the world via similar articles and cartoons. No one has even approached the horrific history of the Nazis in its genocide efforts – although Stalin did pretty well.

“Please do not transfer your guilty motives onto others.” Here you go again! Just more rubbish for which you have no justification! Your postings are really quite offensive.

Interested bystander, some are wars, civil wars, terrorist attacks. As I pointed out in the link to a prevous article, genocide has a specific accepted meaning, and what is happening in Palestine fits that broadly accepted definition. What is happening in Syria doesn’t. Japan with atomic bombs was not genocide. It was a war crime, as was Dresden. In fact the atomic bombs were, whatever else they were, expressions of power by the US aimed directly at telling the USSR who was the boss.

What happened in Rwanda fits the definition of genocide. Unlike Rwanda, in Palestine it is the West who supports those committing genocide and without that support that genocide would stop.

Here is the link again to the article discussing why what is happening in Palestine is genocide. It discusses in detail what genocide is. https://enpassant.com.au/2014/07/18/why-what-is-happening-in-palestine-is-genocide/

Which ‘leftwing’papers? I saw Bill LeaK’s anti-Semitic (anti-Palestinian) cartoon in the Australian but that is hardly a leftwing newspaper.

Kay says: ‘All the Left are calling for the dissolution of Israel, just like Hamas is doing so. What exactly do you think that will mean for the Jews there?’

It will mean the same as the establishment of a rainbow nation in South Africa meant for the whites, Kay. A democratic and secular nation for all who want to live there.

It was in the SMH. This refers to it:

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/media/print/george-brandis-slams-fairfax-newspaper-over-antisemitic-cartoon/story-fn9ymmvo-1227012199046?from=public_rss&utm_source=The%20Australian&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=editorial&net_sub_uid=47660202

Malcolm Turnbull mentioned it on TV the other day. He had received many complaints from the Jewish members of his federal seat. That prompted me to go looking for the cartoon he was referring to. The SMH editor was forced to apologise for it. I believe it was the way the Jewish man was depicted that reminded them of depictions in the Nazi press leading up to the Holocaust.

Yes, a ridiculous racist stereotype which detracts attention away from the next step in the genocide Zionism is currently unleashing on Palestine. This is a genocide the ‘nice’Liberal Malcolm Turnbull supports. The article by Carlton wasn’t anti-Semitic, just stating the view that some Israeli commentators think that Israel is already a fascist state. I look forward to Brandis condeming Bill Leak’s anti-Semitic anti-Palestinian cartoon too. Pigs might fly.

The cry of anti-Semitism is often used to attempt to end any discussion of Israel’s genocide against Palestinians. The SMH cartoon gives credence to that nonsense.

‘What exactly do you think that will mean for the Jews there? I mean, there are over 6 million Jews living in Israel.’

That all of those Jews whose ancestors were not resident in Palestine prior to 1870 begin finding somewhere to live — If any country is idiot enough to take them in!

With their history in Palestine, it would be a stupid, stupid country that accepted any of them.

“It will mean the same as the establishment of a rainbow nation in South Africa meant for the whites, Kay. A democratic and secular nation for all who want to live there.” If so, it would be the only “democratic and secular nation” dominated by Muslims in the entire Middle East!!! Dream on!

Just look at the fate of Christians in Muslim countries – and they aren’t as hated as the Jews. Here is just one very recent example:

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/iraq-isis-crisis-christians-hounded-out-mosul-trapped-desert-refugee-camps-1458647

Hamas and their followers reclaimimg Israel would be very similar. And there are 6 million Jews in Israel. There would definitely be no democratic and secular rainbow nation!!
