Send Barnaby to Indonesia
It is a pity that Barnaby Joyce, a man of tact, diplomacy, nuance and subtlety, isn’t going to Indonesia to fix things up. I know I am disappointed that Barnaby is missing out on this great opportunity, and I am sure the Indonesians feel the same way. [Sarcasm alert.] (0)

Socialism makes sense

Bertolt Brecht’s evaluation that socialism ‘is not madness, but the end of madness’ rings true, writes Ben Hillier in Red Flag. The main obstacle to the eradication of poverty, inequality and the accompanying violence remains the centralisation of the world’s productive assets in the hands of a tiny minority of the population.

Socialism – a world run to fulfil human need rather than fuel private greed, in which there is no privileged class of human beings – remains a sensible idea in a chaotic 21st century.

Anyone can understand it.

Socialism sounds good, but it has never really existed as its adherents imagine – maybe apart from Israeli kibbutzim. As such, it is purely a theory. What we have seen are totalitarian states that were based on the theory of communism/socialism – and people were prepared to die to escape these oppressive governments.

So it is hard to see why today’s citizens would agree that “socialism makes sense”. They have the advantage of having seen the practical outcomes.

I often meet and see other immigrants from the UK, Germany, France etc also infected with mc/pc virus that has stifled them, and then blithely espousing the same solutions in their new host country – all in a vain attempt to socialising Australia, a thing that wont happen whilst tens of thousands of vets are still alive and still stand allegiance to the Southern Cross!

They just can not help it,though as they have been well schooled through the education system. Unfortunately the host countries already have niches in media, universities, governments, and politics, for them to fall into and be activists to expand their corrupt ideas.

No ! ! I would not let them leave, as it is their subservience to pc/mc, that has so much effect, and they will want to preach it, so keep them out. Let alone them getting the vote in another country or taking their place in the Honour Roll of History serving their master, the Queen of England and the Throne of Great Britain!

They have a country to turn round, so stay there and suck it up. Or start the long battle to turn things around in their home country, for their own family, friends and people.

It is sort of rare to meet an immigrant, that knows that the problem is islam and the cover of left wing ideologies. However, it may yet happen.

They died in their thousands under the jackboot of capitalism in most Third World countries – all under the guiding hand of the CIA.

The problem with Kay is that she cannot count her own dead.

The very word Govern means control. Every form of governing has elements of control built in and without fail those elements will be exploited.
How exploitative will depend on how much citizens are willing to allow.
So matter which form of Government we have bestowed upon us it will be as good or as evil we allow
