On Wednesday, the Greek government will attempt to implement legislation that the people voted NO against little more than a week ago, after striking a new austerity memorandum with the EU.
The major Greek public sector union has called a general strike as the deal goes to the vote on Wednesday, and protests will take place around the world.
The deal demands increases in VAT (the Greek GST), massive privatisation, attacks on the pension and a review of the positive reforms of the last six months, such as the reinstatement of Greek media workers at the public broadcaster, ERT, and of striking cleaners.
Join us to support the fight against austerity.
OXI means OXI
OXI to austerity
OXI to a third memorandum!
YES to democracy
YES to strikes and protests
All supporters welcome! Bring your signs, and your friends.
