John Passant is for sale on the international lecture circuit

With news that Tony Abbott has offered himself to the international talk circuit as one of the world’s greatest minds (minuses, surely) for only US$40,000, or about A$55,000, I think I will put my hand up for some gigs.

Here is my soft sell. What do you think?

John Passant is one of Australia’s best known and loved socialists. At only US$20,000 John is half the price of former Australia Prime Minister Tony Abbott. But wait, there’s more.

Unlike Abbott, John doesn’t speak in three word slogans. He can make and defend an argument. He is intelligent and articulate and has a strong history of fighting for social justice and socialism.

John is a former Assistant Commissioner of Taxation and tax academic. He is a life long socialist with over 40 years in the left. John’s first book of poetry will be published in mid 2016.

Hurry, places are filling fast. Book John now.
