First they came for our toilets
Posted by John, August 15th, 2016 - under Pauline Hanson, toilets.
You cannot make this shit up. Senator Pauline Hanson has criticised the Australian Tax Office (where I used to work) for its decision to install squat toilets to accommodate some of its staff and their usual toilet positioning. According to the ATO, 20% of its staff are from non-English speaking backgrounds.
According to Max Chalmers in New Matilda, Senator Hanson said:
“Well if they don’t know how to use our toilets, regardless of just at the ATO, our parks, convention centres, in the Aussie homes, everywhere else, then what the hell is going on? Because I know what is more confusing and it’s definitely not using a squat toilet, it’s doing our tax.”
Hanson is using toilets to differentiate ‘us’ and ‘them’. Evidently ‘they’ poo and wee differently. Of course ‘they’ don’t. Some humans excrete in ways that are different to the majority Australian ways. Squatting is one. It may well be healthier than sitting.
When I lived in France many years ago the bar nearby had squat toilets. They are common in many Asian countries too.
This is just another way for Hanson to attack ‘Asians’. I wonder what positions Aboriginal people and Muslims adopt to excrete? No doubt Senator Hanson will enlighten us soon. The question is ridiculous of course but given Aboriginal people and Muslims are, along with Asians, a target of Pauline Hanson can we now expect some sort of One Nation guide to correct shitting to identify the dangerous ‘other’?
The age of irrationality from the ruling class and their fearful is upon us.

Senator Hanson was commenting on the price to the Aussie taxpayer to have to modify perfectly good ablutions. Why should aussies have to conform to the foreign muslim ways?

Some people it appears can speak enough shit so as to avoid toilets altogether. How such people can get elected into positions of power over our lives is the real tragedy.

When in Rome . . . even if it may give some non-Romans the sh ts! Multiculturalism is a ‘sacred cow’ that needs to be recognized as a ‘one size fits all’ attempted ‘justification’ for anyone of any culture to vociferously claim that other taxpayers should pay for their customs. The Chinese routinely expectorant in spittoons to clear their throats as well as one the streets so should our laws be chanel to encourage/overlook any health hazards of the practice undertaken by many Asians or should they learn that Beijing Shanghai etc is not Sydney Brisbane Melbourne etc and conform to the society into which they choose to live!?

Kindergarten racism. The colonialists routinely commit genocide against original inhabitants. Should we support that filthy habit?

These comments are satirical right? You can’t all really be in a stew about a bit of bathroom diversity surely? Maybe you should try the squat – apparently it is very good for constipation. While there you might contemplate how the super rich are ripping you off so successfully every day of your lives and at such a clearly accelerating pace that in a decade or so you won’t be able to afford toilet paper.

Actually the shit that you couldn’t make up is that the ATO is installing squat toilets for people.
Really taking multiculturalism to a whole new level. Celebrate defecation diversity. It could be the left’s new slogan.
