Send Barnaby to Indonesia
It is a pity that Barnaby Joyce, a man of tact, diplomacy, nuance and subtlety, isn’t going to Indonesia to fix things up. I know I am disappointed that Barnaby is missing out on this great opportunity, and I am sure the Indonesians feel the same way. [Sarcasm alert.] (0)

1 in 3 Greens voters want a ban on Muslim immigration. Parents in the only Greens federal electorate pull their kids out of schools with refugees and send them schools were there are more white kids.

I’m looking forward to your next article about racism in the Australian Greens.

You, and many others, confuse racism with religion. If Greens, or ALP, or Liberal voters want a ban on Muslims, then I assume this includes Muslims of any race?

I am not aware of any mainstream body of voters wanting to ban immigration of any racial type – Asian, African, European, Polynesian or Middle Eastern. However Hanson is wanting to ban-based-on-race. She is ranting against Muslims as code for her racism she declared in her first Maiden speech in the 1990’s. It is a pity that she has added incendiary concerns over terrorism, Sharia Law and Caliphate aspirations, to camouflage (and aid and abet) her fringe racism.

Refugees are not coming to Australia because of any racial or religious motivation. They are coming because their economic livelihoods, housing and rights have been destroyed in their own countries and, in the worse cases, they have had members of their families either killed or tortured.

But this is the end game of centuries of Western Imperialism and exploitation of the Third World. The West has, invaded, plundered and corrupted almost the entire Third World and assassinated or plotted coups against any leader opposing Imperialist intrusions – even Gough Whitlam.

If the Third World had been allowed to raise its own economies to the same standard as the rest of the world, and elect their own governments, without suffering US sponsored genocide (as in Indonesia), then we would not be having this conversation.

There is no need to ban any immigration based on race and no evidence of any such racism in modern Australia.

If proponents of the Unabomber theory or supporters of Timothy McVeigh’s politics or of Anders Breivik’s Manifesto or US Mafia thugs were banned from Australia, this would not be a racist act even if Australia was entirely Black.
