Send Barnaby to Indonesia
It is a pity that Barnaby Joyce, a man of tact, diplomacy, nuance and subtlety, isn’t going to Indonesia to fix things up. I know I am disappointed that Barnaby is missing out on this great opportunity, and I am sure the Indonesians feel the same way. [Sarcasm alert.] (0)

The Moss Review exposes the sexual and physical brutality on Nauru and all Tony Abbott can say is ‘things happen’

Let’s build the demonstrations against this sexual and physical brutality and violence and for refugees this coming Sunday, Palm Sunday, in capital and other cities across Australia. See you there.

Onions and genocide

Eating raw, unpeeled onions is a lifestyle choice. Driving indigenous people off their land is genocide.

The adventures of idiot boy in Australia

This is not from The Onion. It is about an onion. A raw, brown, unpeeled onion and Australia’s Prime Minister Tony Abbott, affectionately known as idiot boy by his adoring public. ┬áThis report is the first in what will no doubt be a long long series of his adventures.

Tony Abbott and speaking for the nation

Of ‘lifestyle choices’ and genocide

Driving Aboriginal people off their land is genocide. It has been going on since 1788 and this closure of up to 150 settlements in WA is the latest instalment. Evidently Tony Abbott has no trouble subsidising the lifestyle choices of rich white people.Speaking of remote communities, the Abbott government and Shorten Labor Opposition are the two communities totally removed from the reality of every day life for most workers and the poor. Why do we endlessly subsidise politicians in their lifestyle choices? Australia’s Prime Minister is an ignorant racist pig heading up a genocidal government and system.

A nine year old identifies 3 major problems facing Australia

  From the Northern Territory news.

Has Tony Abbott attempted to pervert the course of a police investigation?

Given that the AFP is investigating whether Gillian Triggs was asked to resign and if an inducement was offered to get her to do so, isn’t Tony Abbott’s categorical and unequivocal statement that ‘she was not asked to resign and no inducement has been offered’ itself possibly an attempt to influence and perhaps pervert the course of the investigation? Will he too be investigated?

Just who is the real threat to Australian workers?

‘This government, and the opposition that so often backs it, preaches freedom, democracy and fairness. This pledge is hollow, cover for a future of fear, poverty, desperation and insecurity, all in aid of giving a worthless government a mirage of strength and the rich a more pliant workforce.’

Vote 1 George and Mildred

Sick and tired of comedians running the country? The vote 1 George and Mildred.

‘Weak’ one of good government in Australia

Week one (or should that be weak one?) of good government in Australia has gone well hasn’t it? After his near death experience in the party room meeting last Monday when 39 of his own colleagues out of 100 voted for none of the above in a leadership ballot – ah OK, it was a spill motion to declare Abbott’s position as Prime Minister vacant – it has been all up, up and away for the good government that Abbott then promised. And what a choice at the next election: Tzetze Tony or Belly-laugh Bill. Both are neoliberal necrophiliacs. Our task remains to build an alternative to these conjoined neoliberal twins.
