Send Barnaby to Indonesia
It is a pity that Barnaby Joyce, a man of tact, diplomacy, nuance and subtlety, isn’t going to Indonesia to fix things up. I know I am disappointed that Barnaby is missing out on this great opportunity, and I am sure the Indonesians feel the same way. [Sarcasm alert.] (0)

George Brandis and his freedom commissars

To make sense of the zeal of George Brandis for certain types of freedoms we need to judge them through the prism of class. Brandis’s freedoms will directly or indirectly assist the ruling class in its ongoing campaign to justify itself and reinforce its barbaric and exploitative rule. His proposed freedom commissars will strengthen the dictatorship of capital.

If this is how the Liberals treat bushfire victims, imagine what they plan for the rest of us

Let’s prepare right now for the conflagration the Liberals want to unleash on us in the May Budget and the spot fires the government arsonists have already been starting. Be Abbott aware now.

A more humane and just society where all bushfire victims are treated fairly can be won, but that means joining with all those under attack from the Liberals. Most importantly it means workers taking action to defend their own interests against the attacks of the one percent and their Liberal government. We can beat them back with strikes.

First they came for the bikies

The Abbott Liberal Government and its State counterparts will ratchet up their strategy of vilification and demonisation against the powerless, the poor, refugees, bikies, indigenous Australians. This lays the groundwork for turning on social welfare recipients – so called dole bludgers and the like – and then on to the defensive organisations of labour, unions. They will ramp up the rhetoric of union thugs and attacks on unions.

An injury to one is an injury to all. To keep and improve current pay, conditions and jobs we will have to fight back against reaction, against all demonisation and vilification, against attacks on unions. If there is hope it lies in the proles.

Bikies, MP rorting and company bribery

The police don’t normally investigate the bosses in any systematic was because they are all part of the biggest group of robbers on the planet today, the ruling class. Far better to target alienated working class men and distract attention away from the real criminals

Priests, the abuse of kids and state intervention

We invade the Northern Territory to ‘protect’ children. We outlaw bikie gangs for alleged crimes. Why not the same for the Catholic Church?

Jackboot junkies and bikie gangs

The ABCC; the ‘bikie gang’ laws; anti-terrorism laws; the loss of habeas corpus – the ruling class jackboots are stirring.

Ministers, Spies and Bikies: the new McCarthyism

Abolish our Stasi. De-fund defence and intelligence agencies and spend the money on health and education.

Cricketers and Sydney Airport

When are the Sri Lankan cricketers next traveling through Sydney Airport?

Nude bikie photo scandal

I have some photos. They may or may not be of a bikie. He or she may or may not be nude. For $15000 I will sell them to the Sunday Telegraph. Oh shit, they published them a few Sundays ago! Let’s get real. Kevin Rudd is a much bigger threat to lives (Iraq and Afghanistan come to mind) […]

Blame the bikies update

Police are investigating possible link between bikie gangs and Mohamed Haneef, David Hicks, Osama Bin Laden, Lee Harvey Oswald, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, September 11, the global economic crisis, climate change, prostate cancer, heart disease, binge drinking, unemployment, big bonus payments and St George’s inability to win a premiership since 1979. Well known political gang leaders […]
